design and cast five artifact windows for Five Skaters, an ice-
skating commemorative commissioned by the San Jose Office
of Cultural Affairs Public Art Program. Five Skaters is located
in the Guadalupe River Park, San Jose, CA.
The project required unique embedment techniques,extensive experimentation, and development of a resilient optical interface
between the glass cover plates and the acrylic castings. Each
casting is 18" in diameter and weighs 200 lbs.
